       Ansemy has achieved leading positions in several markets and technologies through acquisitions and robust internal development, which have driven the company's growth, including automotive, industrial, and cloud power. In 2021, in order to better reflect its extensive technology portfolio, differentiated product line, and market leadership position, Ansemi Semiconductor renamed itself Ansemi.

       Although we have a brand new image, the foundation of the company remains our cornerstone. In 1999, Motorola split its standard product semiconductor business into an independent company called Ansemy Semiconductor. Motorola has always been a pioneer in transistors, especially in commercial applications. In fact, in July 1969, Motorola's radio transponder transmitted that famous quote from the moon to Earth. Motorola also pioneered the automotive electronics industry, from the first mobile radio in police cars in the 1940s to electric controls and semiconductors in the 1970s.

       Fairchild Semiconductor

       However, Motorola is not the only industry pioneer that has established a foundation for today's Ansemy. In 2016, Ansemy acquired Fairchild Semiconductor, becoming a top semiconductor manufacturer. Fairchild Semiconductor was founded in 1957 to manufacture transistors using silicon instead of the more common form of germanium. It also pioneered the planar process, making it easier to manufacture transistors with lower costs and higher performance and reliability. This planar process enabled Fairchild Semiconductor to develop the first commercially viable integrated circuit in 1960, which became the cornerstone of many of the innovations we enjoy today.

       Fairchild Semiconductor and Motorola are the cornerstone of the technology industry as we know it today. Almost every technology company that currently exists can trace their roots back to one of these pioneers. However, Ansemy not only inherited industry giants Motorola and Fairchild Semiconductor, but also inherited Cherry Semiconductor, AMI Semiconductor, Sanyo Semiconductor, Aptina Imaging Corporation, SensL Technologies, and many other companies.

       President and CEO of Ansemy Semiconductor Company:

       Hassane El Khoury was elected as a director of Ansemy Semiconductor in December 2020 and appointed as the President and CEO of Ansemy Semiconductor and Semiconductor Components Industries, LLC. Prior to joining Ansemy Semiconductor, El Khoury served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Board Member at Cypress Semiconductor until the company was sold to Infineon in April 2020. During his thirteen years at Cypress, he held various positions including business department management, product development, application engineering, and business development.

        Mr. El Khoury's career began as a senior design engineer at Continental Automotive Systems. When he immigrated from Lebanon to the United States at the age of 17, El Khoury received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Lawrence University of Technology and a Master of Engineering Management from Auckland University. He was the recipient of 40 individuals under the age of 40 in Silicon Valley in 2018 and is currently a member of Saku ú's board of directors.
